Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. HVCC offers more than 80 degree and certificate programs in three schools: Business and Liberal Arts; Health Sciences; and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). Applications are being accepted for the following vacancies for the Fall 2026 semester on the Faculty staff of Hudson Valley Community College, Troy, New York. Must be either a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident of the United States and appointment will be contingent upon completion of a background check. Department: Engineering and Architecture Instructor-Welding and Fabrication MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Certification in Welding from an accredited Institution and 3 years of experience in the welding industry. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Associate degree in a Welding-related field from an accredited institution and 3+ years working in the welding industry. Experience teaching/mentoring welding in any setting. Teaching online, hybrid, or in person classes at the college or high school level. DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide classroom instruction in Welding and Fabrication. The Salary for this position is $53,000.00. This is a 10-month position (151 workdays). In addition to the baseline salary, there is the potential for additional compensation through voluntary overload teaching.
