A Fleet and Facility Manager at SET Environmental is responsible to:



  • Track, schedule, and manage preventive and corrective maintenance on trucks, tractor-trailers and other company equipment
  • Manage groups performing annual inspections in compliance with Company, State and Federal regulations
  • Schedule, track and update maintenance records per DOT and Company requirements
  • Schedule and oversee work for other employees in the department
  • Manage shop safety, spend, outsourcing of equipment, and communication
  • Oversee divisional spending on parts, supplies, and outsourced work
  • Manage replacement parts, inventories, supplies and tools
  • Perform building maintenance as needed
  • Manage contractors performing building maintenance
  • Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed/required
  • Manage asset library for PM's
  • Implement policy and procedure to reduce downtime
  • Manage shop KPI's and projections
  • Work with operations and maintenance groups to streamline communication for repairs/PMs
  • Other duties as assigned



POSITION REQUIREMENTS



  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of related diesel maintenance work
  • Class B CDL or ability to obtain; Class A CDL preferred
  • 3- 5 years of Management experience preferred
  • Good driving record
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to work with basic hand tools
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Welding and electrical abilities
  • Candidate must be a self-starter who can work both independently and in a team environment
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office Suite, e-mail, etc.)
