Position Summary:
The Manager, Engagement Studio elevates Bimbo Bakeries USA's brand presence by driving culturally resonant earned media, social engagement, and real time storytelling. As a key contributor within the Integrated Communications & Creative Services Team, this role leads the development and activation of high impact social moments, creator and influencer collaborations, and earned impact social moments, creator and influencer collaborations, and impact social moments, creator and influencer collaborations, and earned brand initiatives that spark conversation, build cultural relevance, and strengthen brand equity. Key Job Responsibilities:
Earned Media Strategy & Cultural Intelligence
  • Lead the development of earned firstfirst strategies that position BBU brands at the center of culture, conversation, and consumer passion points with Engagement studio team and brand partners.
  • Identify and evaluate cultural moments, trends, and audience behaviors to inform proactive and reactive brand storytelling.
  • Develop compelling earned media narratives that translate brand strategies into stories worth sharing - across press, creators, and social platforms.
Creator, Influencer & Talent Partnerships
  • Lead creator and influencer strategy for earned media initiatives, identifying media initiatives, identifyingmedia initiatives, identifying talent who authentically align with brand values and consumer communities in collaboration with agency and internal partners.
  • Manage creative development, briefing, content review, and delivery across paid, owned and earned influencer activations in partnership with social media team and agency partners.
  • Build strong relationships with creators, agents, and partner networks to elevate BBU's engagement footprint.
Brand Activations & Earned-FirstFirst Campaigns
  • Concept and execute culturally resonant brand moments with internal and agency teams-product drops, stunts, collaborations, and experiential popups-that drive conversation and press interest.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Brand Marketing, Consumer Experience, Legal, Consumer Relations) to align earned-led initiatives with broader campaigns and brand platforms.
  • Ensure all activations are optimized for shareability, creator amplification, and organic social resonance.
Cross-FunctionalFunctional Leadership & Agency Partnership
  • Serve as the day-to-daytoday strategic partner for brand teams, guiding earned media thinking across campaigns and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with Sr.Mgr and lead agency partners (PR, influencer, social) toward high-quality creative output and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate across Social Media, Brand Marketing, Creative Services, Consumer Relations, Legal and Risk, and Corporate Affairs to ensure cohesive storytelling and risk managedmanaged execution.
Performance Analysis & Continuous Optimization
  • Work cross-functionally to track earned media, social engagement, and influencer performance metrics to evaluate success and inform strategy.
  • Develop insights-driven reporting that identifies learnings, cultural takeaways, and next-step opportunities with internal and external partners.
  • Align with Sr. Mgr and refine playbooks, creative best practices, and engagement guidelines to continually elevate BBU's engagement studio capabilities.

Education and Work History:
  • Bachelor's degree required (or an equivalent blend of education, training, and relevant experience).
  • 5-7 years of experience in content marketing, earned media, social engagement, or events/experiential marketing - CPG or consumer brand experience strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in social media, earned media, digital engagement, PR, or related fields within CPG, consumer brands, retail, or agency environments.
  • Wellrounded understanding of social platforms, cultural trends, and the role of social + earned media in modern brand marketing.
  • Deep understanding of the earned media and social ecosystem, including platform behaviors, cultural trends, creator/influencer dynamics, and realtime engagement best practices.
  • Proven track record developing culturally resonant, earnedfirst ideas that drive conversation, organic reach, and meaningful consumer engagement.
  • Exceptional written communication and storytelling skills, with strong command of brand voice, cultural nuance, and editorial judgment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional workstreams across brand marketing, creative, communications, legal, and agency partners.
  • Strong knowledge of content creation and production workflows, both in-house and with external creators or agencies.
  • Hands-on competency with lightweight editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva, Adobe Express) for social-first video, photo, and design adjustments.
  • PR sensibility and media instincts, including understanding of newsworthiness, brand positioning, and riskmanaged communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into insights, building clear, data-backed recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed, able to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-moving, culturally driven environments.
  • Comfort engaging with creators, agencies, and external partners, representing the brand in fast-paced or public-facing moments
