We are seeking Entry-Level Cable Technicians to join our growing team supporting commercial structured cabling projects. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy handson work, want to learn a skilled trade, and are excited about building a long-term career in cabling, low voltage, and eventually security systems. This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential for long-term placement. What You'll Do (Day-to-Day) * Assist senior technicians in pulling voice and data cabling (CAT5, CAT6, conduit). * Run, route, and label large volumes of structured cabling in commercial environments. * Punch down and terminate cable on both ends following industry standards. * Work on ladders and scissor lifts; must be comfortable with heights. * Learn troubleshooting techniques for low-voltage systems as you grow. * Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work environment. * Interact with customers professionally and uphold a reputation for exceptional service. Required Skills & Attributes * Experience or interest in cable installation, structured cabling, or general lowvoltage work. * Basic understanding of CAT5/CAT6, punchdowns, and cabling tools (preferred but not required). * Strong customer service skills-must remain professional in front of multiple customers every day. * Comfortable with physical, handson work and working at heights. * Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn from experienced technicians. * Positive attitude and ability to handle challenging environments or difficult customer situations. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
