Job Summary:

The Interior Design Intern provides entry-level support to the Interior Design team and related internal partners. This role is designed to offer hands-on learning experience through assisting with basic design tasks, organization, and project support while gaining exposure to commercial interior design processes, products, and workflows in an amazing company culture.

Primary Duties:



  • Assist the Interior Design team with day-to-day tasks to support ongoing projects.
  • Help create physical and digital design boards using established standards and templates.
  • Support the preparation of design presentations, narratives, and visual materials.
  • Assist with ordering, organizing, and tracking material and product samples.
  • Help research colors, materials, finishes, images, and design trends as directed.
  • Provide support during marketing initiatives such as photoshoots, video shoots, and renderings.
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining the design center, sample library, and showroom.
  • Support coordination with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Graphics.
  • Perform general administrative and organizational tasks to support the Interior Design team.

Job Specifications:



  • Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited program, or a recent graduate seeking internship experience.
  • Interest in commercial interior design; prior internship or academic project experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of CAD and/or Revit; basic rendering skills (computer and/or freehand) preferred.
  • Strong interest in color, materials, finishes, and graphic composition.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Eagerness to learn, with a commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance


Job Relationships:



  • Reports directly to the Senior Interior Designer.
  • Works closely with Senior Interior Designer, Interior Designer, Marketing, and Sales teams in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment.
