As a Security Officer Patrol Sentinel in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activity and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and/or restricted spaces, helping to manage access, direct foot traffic, and support a professional environment for everyone on site.
• Assist with security-related calls for service, such as escort requests, visitor assistance, and/or response to policy concerns, while following Allied Universal standards and site instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
