The Business Outcome Readiness Partner is accountable to work with matrixed and cross functional teams of teams to achieve strategic business outcomes. This position plays a vital role in the planning, prioritization and execution of activities required to efficiently and effectively run the business and achieve our strategic objectives.

Key accountabilities include representing the voice of the customer by providing domain knowledge and expertise to drive business outcomes, including the coordination of people, process and technology improvements. This role will act as a key change agent for the business and is accountable for business decisions related to the planning, delivery and operational aspects needed for the realization of business strategy.

This role also provides domain knowledge and expertise to Technical Product Team(s) to drive business outcomes. Understands and communicates impacts to all changes, and ensures stakeholders are informed, aligned and ready to meet objectives.



  • Responsible for ensuring achievement of business outcomes.
  • Participates in strategic roadmap planning
  • Collaborate with other Business Owners and Product Management to negotiate dependencies and timelines for multiple competing organizational priorities.
  • Partners and represents business leaders to ensure systems and processes are running smoothly for achievement of sales and customer retention goals.
  • Accountable for coordinating updates to training materials, standard operating procedures, policies and procedures and business processes.
  • Ensures solutions are in compliance with Medica policies, government regulatory & legislative requirements.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather, assess and prioritize business needs


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 8 years of work experience beyond degree; specifically within sales, sales operations, systems administration
  • Multi-product/market experience required (Government, Exchange, Commercial)


Desired Qualifications:



  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
  • Experience working with technological development teams utilizing Agile methods; SAFe experience preferred

  • Strong ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with all levels, including executives to analysts.
  • Ability to quantify ROI and understand enterprise impact to support prioritization of initiatives.

  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to think strategically
  • Very effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view.
  • This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office, Minnetonka or Madison, for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.


The full salary grade for this position is $100,300-$172,000. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $100,300-$150,465. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to compensation, Medica offers a generous total rewards package that includes competitive medical, dental, vision, PTO, Holidays, paid volunteer time off, 401K contributions, caregiver services and many other benefits to support our employees.
