Sr. System Validation Engineer, Residential Energy

Tesla Energy isseekinga highly skilled SystemValidationEngineer to leadfirmware / softwarevalidation efforts for our residential energy products. You willbe responsible fordeveloping testplans, building advanced test infrastructure, and ensuring our productsare fullyvalidatedforallmarketsin a timely manner.

• Leadsystem-levelfirmwarevalidation for residential energy storage systems, solar PV, and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technology across multiple markets
• Design, build, andmaintainadvanced test setups and infrastructure to enablesystem-level firmware validation
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans tovalidategridsupportfunctions, performance, safety, and interoperability requirements
• Perform firmware integration testing of gridsupportfunctions andidentifyfirmware defects early in the development cycle
• Develop andmaintainautomated test suites to enable continuous regression testing

• Strong electrical engineering fundamentals with understanding of power electronics and control systems
• 5+ years of experience in grid-connected power electronicstesting, hardware/firmware integration, or power systems validation
• Proficiencywith specialized test equipment: power analyzers, grid simulators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, CAN tools
• Preferred:Programming familiarity in Python for test automation
