Job Title: TIG Welder Location with zip code: Moncks Corner, SC 29461 Duration: Direct Hire Payrate: $25/hr. on W2 with full benefits Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:00PM-1:30AM Mon-Thu Prescreened Questions: How do you feed and dab the rod, and what is your experience with thin TIG welds? How confident are you performing a continuous GTAW weld over a 6-inch span, and what materials have you worked with using TIG? Do you have experience with semi-automatic or orbital welders? Position Summary: Seeking a skilled TIG Welder to perform a range of manual, automatic, and semi-automatic welds on high-temperature and high-strength metal alloys. Role & Responsibilities: Perform groove welds and vertical pipe welding following established procedures Operate semi-automatic and/or orbital welding equipment (preferred) Successfully pass EN-288 welding tests Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of TIG welding experience Proven TIG welding knowledge with ability to pass EN-288 tests Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and procedures Basic computer skills High manual dexterity and sound judgment Education: High School Diploma/GED required.
