Job Title: Deburr Machinist Location: CA- 92618Irvine, CA- 92618 Duration: 6+ months Pay Rate: $25/hr. - $34.70 on w2 without benefits Shift: 2nd shift 1:30PM-10:00PM Role & Responsibilities: Prioritize safety and a safe working environment above all else. Communicate effectively with machinists and other co-workers. Removes burrs, sharp edges, tool marks, or other irregularities from machined parts, with attention to detail and precision using a variety of hand tools. Polish machined surfaces to achieve specific finish requirements per drawing instructions. Effectively use tumble deburr and media blasting equipment as needed. Inspect parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments, gages, borescopes and comparators. Uses various types of magnification equipment to detect and avoid damage to surfaces and critical areas. Use proper PPE in line with company policy including safety glasses, masks, respirators and gloves. Required Skills: Two years related experience, preferably in an aerospace or comparable environment. Able to read and follow blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions. Has working knowledge of machine shop mathematics, may include trigonometry.
