Production Manager

Marvin Composites in Fargo, ND is hiring a Production Manager to support our Extrusion facility. As a Production Manager, you'll lead the overall direction of the operation, setting the tone for safety, quality, and team performance. This role is focused on building a strong culture while ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

You'll stay closely connected to the operations, supporting supervisors and teams, addressing day-to-day challenges, and keeping priorities aligned as needs shift. Success in this role comes from steady leadership, sound decision making, and the ability to keep people and processes moving forward.

Lead daily production operations to deliver product safely, on time, and within efficiency and cost targets
• Support a strong safety culture by ensuring safe equipment operation, achieving and maintaining an injury-free workplace, and supporting VPP efforts
• Develop and lead a strong team through clear expectations, coaching, and consistent follow-through
• Execute the production schedule in partnership with planning, adjusting for staffing, equipment, and material availability
• Drive consistent use of standard work while identifying opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste
• Monitor quality, work-in-process(WIP), and inventory to ensure accuracy, organization, and flow of materials

• Communicate clearly and set direction people can follow
• Stay organized and focused when priorities shift
• Approach challenges with a practical, solution-focused mindset

• Bachelor's degree in business, technical field or related field (preferred)
• At least five years of manufacturing experience, including two or more years in a leadership role
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
