The firm seeks a full-time, entry level Litigation Legal Assistant resident in our San Francisco Office. This position offers excellent experience for those who are contemplating law school in two years.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Organize and manage ediscovery, case materials, and attorney work product using specialized litigation software
  • Indexing and tracking important matter information, including hot documents, key deadlines
  • Assist with preparing for depositions and witness interviews by organizing factual materials for case manager and attorney review
  • Monitor code review sessions
  • Assist with trial and hearing preparations and logistics
  • Prepare court filings, including assembling exhibits and appendices
  • Proofread and perform other quality control measures on work product
  • Coordinating with clients, lawyers, case managers, vendors, and firm staff at all levels

Requirements:

  • Ability to prioritize requests under time pressure and to handle multiple tasks with efficiency and a sense of ownership
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities, including a heightened attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree with academic achievement, minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Willingness to make a two year commitment to the firm and flexibility to work overtime as needed in order to provide outstanding client service
  • Ability to work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely and to travel when needed
  • Knowledge of Excel functionality, including ability to use as an indexing and tracking tool

Preferred:
  • Professional fluency in Spanish or Mandarin
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, including a comfort level working with large datasets in specialized databases
  • Affinity for modern technology, including artificial intelligence
