Jr. Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruiting team and dedicate efforts to recruiting non-exempt roles across the country, primarily the technicians responsible for operating our plants. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their recruiting career who wants to learn and grow in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Location:

The successful candidate must be able to support multiple Linde locations through same-day, round-trip travel by car. This role is ideally based within commuting distance of one of our major Eastern Region sites in Tonawanda, NY; Danbury, CT; Mims, FL; or McIntosh, AL, or within same-day driving distance of several Linde facilities in the East. Travel will not exceed 20% annually.

Job Overview:

The Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist will support the recruiting process for the Eastern region of the United States. You will work closely with hiring managers to source, screen, and coordinate candidates, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for roles primarily along the East Coast.
• Monitor applicant flow and shortlist applicants that meet minimum qualifications.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, and other channels.
• Screen applicants for basic qualifications and refer qualified candidates to hiring managers.
• Maintain accurate candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Provide regular updates to the Recruiting Manager, HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers on progress.
• Assist with career fairs and other recruiting events as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
• Act as vacation relief for recruiting colleagues on an as-need basis

Qualifications:

Required:

• Minimum of 1 year of recruiting or sourcing experience. Experience in industrial gases or a similar industry is preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (creating and editing spreadsheets, simple formulas).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Cornerstone and/or Taleo preferred.
• Familiarity with high-volume recruiting in industrial/manufacturing environments.

Salary:

Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $80k - $90k.
