Impact You'll Make

  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP.

  • Support the Controller in leading accounting operations, including month-end close and financial statement preparation.

  • Enhance accounting processes and systems to improve efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation.

  • Lead purchase accounting and technical accounting initiatives, ensuring proper treatment of complex transactions.

  • Develop and mentor accounting team members while fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.

  • Serve as a key partner in audit processes and external stakeholder interactions.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee general ledger accounting, month-end close, and preparation of internal and audited financial statements.

  • Review journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals to ensure completeness and accuracy.

  • Enforce balance sheet integrity through review of account reconciliations.

  • Lead ASC 805 purchase accounting, including acquisition entries, opening balance sheets, and technical memos.

  • Research and document accounting treatment for complex or non-routine transactions.

  • Support shareholder-related accounting and equity transactions, as applicable.

  • Act as primary liaison with external auditors for annual financial statement and 401(k) audits.

  • Coordinate audit requests and compile prepared-by-client (PBC) documentation.

  • Perform variance analysis and support ad hoc financial reporting and analysis requests.

  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements across accounting operations.

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of accounting professionals.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.

  • 6-10 years of accounting experience, including general ledger and financial reporting in public and/or private companies.

  • 2-3 years of public accounting experience (mid-size or Big 4 preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting concepts.

  • Experience with ERP systems (Workday preferred; NetSuite or similar acceptable).

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial statement preparation and close processes.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
