The Opportunity

Join Studio, Adobe's in-house creative agency, where creativity, culture, and business strategy converge. Studio delivers high-visibility, global work across brand platforms, flagship campaigns, keynotes, product launches, films, and culturally resonant digital experiences.

As Creative Director, AI & Innovation, you represent a new breed of creative leader-equal parts concept-driven, digitally fluent, and AI-native. You will operate across Adobe's portfolio, shaping ideas, building content, and elevating creative output in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment.

This is a hands-on role for a maker as much as a leader. You will develop and execute ideas across formats from brand storytelling to social content to product narratives bringing a strong point of view on craft, culture, and emerging creative tools.

You will play a critical role in defining how AI shows up in the work not just as a tool, but as a creative medium exploring new forms of storytelling, speed, and scale.

You will work in close partnership with the VP of Creative, Strategy, and Production leadership to bring ideas to life, helping shape both the work and how it gets made. This role is critical to building an AI-native creative model helping define not just the work we make, but how we make it.

What You'll Do
  • Concept and develop breakthrough creative ideas across campaigns, content, and product storytelling-ensuring work is culturally relevant, creatively distinctive, and strategically grounded
  • Work fluidly across Adobe's portfolio, contributing to high-priority initiatives including Firefly and other flagship programs, bringing a consistent creative standard across touchpoints
  • Lead and contribute to the creation of high-quality, multi-format content (social, digital, film, product storytelling, and emerging platforms), with a focus on speed, relevance, and craft
  • Act as a hands-on creative-shaping work directly through art direction, design, writing, and AI-driven creation tools-setting the bar through making, not just directing
  • Define and push how AI shows up in the work-treating it as a creative medium, not just a tool-unlocking new forms of storytelling, visual expression, and content generation
  • Experiment with and prototype AI-native creative approaches, exploring new workflows, formats, and outputs that expand what's creatively possible
  • Partner closely with Strategy to translate audience insight, product innovation, and cultural signals into compelling creative ideas and narratives
  • Collaborate with Production & Program teams to bring ideas to life efficiently and at a high level of craft, ensuring speed does not compromise quality
  • Build and evolve AI-enabled creative workflows-identifying opportunities to increase velocity, adaptability, and scale across content creation
  • Prototype, test, and iterate ideas-embracing a test-and-learn approach to content, particularly in high-volume, fast-moving environments like Firefly
  • Play a key role in building and shaping new content models (e.g., Firefly content pod), designed for always-on, high-volume, AI-assisted content creation
  • Raise the overall creative bar across Studio through strong ideas, taste, and execution-acting as a cultural and creative force within the team
  • Stay deeply connected to culture, creators, and emerging trends-bringing fresh thinking and relevance into the work
  • Act as a catalyst for change helping shift Studio toward a more AI-native, experimental, and future-facing creative model
What You Need to Succeed
  • 8+ years of experience in creative roles (agency or in-house), with a strong portfolio of concept-driven, culturally relevant work
  • Proven ability to develop ideas across multiple formats-campaigns, content, product storytelling, and digital experiences
  • Strong craft skills in one or more areas (art direction, design, writing, content creation), with the ability to contribute hands-on when needed
  • Demonstrated fluency in AI tools and emerging creative technologies, with a point of view on how they shape creativity
  • A portfolio that demonstrates both concept-driven thinking and hands-on making, ideally including work that explores AI or emerging creative tools
  • Experience working in fast-paced, iterative environments with a focus on content and experimentation
  • Ability to translate product features and technology into clear, engaging creative ideas
  • Strong collaboration skills across strategy, production, and cross-functional teams
  • A maker mindset-someone who is curious, experimental, and energized by building and testing ideas
  • Deep understanding of culture, creators, and how ideas spread in modern ecosystems
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and moving quickly
  • Demonstrated fluency in modern craft, with a deep curiosity and passion for AI and emerging technologies, and how they can unlock new forms of creativity, storytelling, and scale.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate creative rationale to varied audiences and bring others along on the journey.
  • An optimistic, forward-looking leader who creates energy, momentum, and belief within teams, especially in moments of ambiguity or change.
