We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team working on a Guidewire / SmartCOMM Cloud project. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, insurance industry knowledge, and experience with SmartCOMM/Guidewire products. The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured, and solutions are designed to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, including insurance company personnel, brokers, and other external parties
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize business needs and requirements
  • Create and maintain business requirements documents, and user stories to ensure that business needs are accurately captured and communicated to technical teams
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure that solutions are designed and implemented to meet business requirements
  • Review test cases and scenarios created by the QA team to validate that solutions meet business requirements
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that could impact project timelines or deliverables
  • Develop and deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the insurance industry
  • Strong knowledge of SmartCOMM and Guidewire products, including PolicyCenter
  • Experience working on cloud-based projects, preferably Guidewire Cloud
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of insurance industry concepts, including policy administration, claims management, and billing
  • Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Deep experience with SmartCOMM
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools, such as Power BI
  • Experience working with Azure Dev Ops
