Position Summary The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, through partnership with the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, established the Digital and Computational Pathology Laboratory (DCPL) in 2018 to accelerate the development and deployment of quantitative pathology. Leveraging our network of expert pathologists and the department's extensive basic sciences knowledgebase, the DCPL aims to advance tissue-based diagnostics and personalized medicine using cutting-edge computational tools. To further this mission, we are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our multidisciplinary team of scientists and physicians. You will work with a passionate group that safely and fairly uses technology to solve real-world, clinically meaningful challenges in the field of anatomic pathology. As a mid/senior-level software engineer, you will work with our team to develop technologies aimed at storing, analyzing and serving large multiresolution and multispectral imaging data to investigators involved in both basic science research and clinical trials.
