Position Overview: The Corporate Communications & Digital Officer is responsible for audience growth and optimizing Broadway Bank's social media platforms, community development, and innovative brand communication in support of marketing and communication objectives. This role involves a cross-channel strategy encompassing public relations, social media, web content and email marketing to enhance brand awareness, content reach, audience engagement, and thought leadership. As a key member of the Marketing Communications team, the incumbent will partner with internal and external teams to develop digital communications plans that support the bank's short-term and long-term strategic goals. This role leads digital channel initiatives, utilizing a data-driven approach to optimize strategies for ongoing success. Essential Functions: Content Strategy & Development:
- Execute strategic and tactical initiatives for our external communications to achieve best-in-class storytelling through traditional and digital channels.
- Develop and oversee customer-centric content, including testimonials, case studies, and brand storytelling assets that support brand, PR, and line of business objectives.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Communications Services Officer, Strategic Marketing team, Creative Services, and lines of business to develop tactical recommendations and creative executions for innovative content that reinforces the Broadway Bank brand to existing and future customers, as well as media.
- Develop strategic messaging, distribution plans, and reporting to capture insights, learnings, and recommendations to enhance strategy and implementation.
- Prepare and deliver content including media materials, social content, internal and employee content, email copy, and other materials as needed.
- Manage content and editorial calendar to oversee media and social media initiatives.
Apply skills to manage multi-channel campaigns, strategies, and tactics that reflect channel differentiation and audience reach. - Interface with and manage key aspects of the PR agency relationship, including special projects and reporting.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate photo, video, and content shoots in collaboration with the Creative Team, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Lead content production timelines, shoot logistics, briefing materials, and post-production coordination to ensure assets are delivered on time and on brand.
- Maintain a library of approved visual and testimonial assets for use across internal and external channels.
Public Relations:
- Build awareness and customer loyalty by generating targeted media coverage through storytelling and the development of creative PR programs.
- Monitor the media environment to identify real-time opportunities for brand alignment while recognizing potential threats to the company's reputation.
- Develop content for media and customers through collaboration with multiple stakeholders and partners.
- Assist with the execution of crisis communication plans.
- Support experiential marketing, community sponsorship activations, and event planning for special projects.
Social Media:
- Provide strategic management and dissemination of compelling storytelling to support sales goals across multiple platforms and audiences, tailored to meet the objectives of each channel.
- Develop and maintain an industry-leading social media "voice" that leverages established brand attributes for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Responsible for developing and implementing the company's social media strategy, including brand awareness, inbound traffic generation, reach expansion, and product adoption.
- Manage social media networking and community sites, posting relevant blogs, videos, etc., and seeding content into social applications as needed.
- Oversee social media initiatives and day-to-day activities, including online advocacy, writing editorials, community outreach efforts, and promotions.
- Coordinate with the MarComm team, and other bank personnel to support initiatives.
Manage community engagement including advocates, influencers, and bloggers. - Develop and monitor benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, analyzing, reviewing, and reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate records and audit files as outlined in the social media policy to meet corporate compliance and ERM requirements.
- Work with vendors or external resources to stay updated on the most current tools and techniques for social media management and brand commentaries, making appropriate recommendations.
- Provide regular feedback on insights gained from social media monitoring to the MarComm team to help evolve strategies. Report negative posts to the Corporate Communications Officer for management as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate, consistent, and compelling local listings across all major search platforms, including location data and content designed to acquire new business.
Marketing Communications:
- Work collaboratively with Line of Business leads in MarComm to define content workflows and project support.
- Assist with the management of complex projects to launch new products, services, and experiences.
- Consult on other digital projects and initiatives as needed.
- This position may require travel within the Bank's geographic area.
Experience & Education:
- Preferred 5+ years in professional specialty (Public Relations, Social Media, Brand/Marketing Communications).
- Experience running Social and PR, developing innovative strategies, and driving against measurable KPIs.
- Proven experience in leading integrated marketing and communications projects in a fast-paced, high-volume environment for a customer-focused organization.
- Experience communicating across broad teams, including matrixed environments.
Excellent writing skills to demonstrate a clear and consistent voice in brand content, including media materials and social media. - A four-year college degree or equivalent experience.

- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as needed to meet deadlines and support communication initiatives.
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull weights or otherwise move objects weighing as much as 10 lbs. on a regular basis and/or for extended periods of time during the workday.
- This position may require travel within the Bank's geographic area.
- Occasional overtime or extended hours may be required.
