Manager,
Communications (GISI Ignite)
About GISI Ignite and Palladium:
GISI is a global, employee-owned family of companies focused on construction,
infrastructure, earth and environment, and global development. GISI Ignite is
GISI's newly launched centralized technology and innovation team, built to
strengthen how our operating companies deliver projects and provide expert
guidance on AI, data, and digital solutions. We develop scalable
platforms, drive workflow modernization, and help operating companies apply
cyber-physical solutions that strengthen the performance, resilience, and
safety of major capital programs.
Palladium, a GISI company, works to design, develop and deliver positive impact
on the lives and livelihoods of people around the globe; broaden access to
health, water, power, and infrastructure; build enduring, sustainable, and
transformative institutions and market systems to address global challenges;
and conserve the natural world. We operate in over 90 countries and have a
workforce of 2,000 talented, motivated, and diverse staff around the
world. This role is hired through Palladium, the operational platform for
Ignite.
This Opportunity:
GISI Ignite is seeking a Manager,
Communications, to build and lead the communications function for a
technology and innovation center of excellence serving three platforms, more
than a dozen companies, and 14,000 staff across 100 countries.
This is a
startup-within-a-company role. This role is the first dedicated communications
hire for Ignite, which means this person will define the function, build the
infrastructure, and personally execute against it. The ideal candidate brings
the strategic vision to build something from scratch and the operational
discipline to roll up their sleeves and deliver.
The role requires fluency
across two distinct modes: strategic communications - keeping boards, executive
leadership, and company-wide audiences informed and aligned - and change
management communications - supporting the adoption of technology programs and
organizational transitions across a highly distributed workforce. The Manager
will partner with the Communications leads at each of GISI's three platforms,
manage a marketing consultant for branding and content production, and build
the systems and cadences that keep GISI Ignite's story clear, consistent, and
credible.
