The UCSF Edward and Pearl Fein Memory and Aging Center (MAC) is a dynamic multidisciplinary clinical and translational research program investigating neurodegenerative diseases. Our research is focused on understanding the best predictive factors and earliest causative changes in neurodegenerative disorders. The Assistant Clinical Research coordinator will have the opportunity to research projects aimed at developing new diagnostic and treatment approaches to Vascular Cognitive Impairment and Dementia (VCID), Alzheimer's disease, and other related dementias. The assistant CRC will work in Dr. Joel Kramer's lab within the UCSF Fein Memory and Aging Center, and interface with all of the projects his team leads, with more focus on our MarkVCID study.
Required Qualifications
HS graduation and sufficient experience and demonstrated skills to successfully perform the assigned duties and responsibilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and WindowsExcellent verbal and written communications and presentation skills; excellent organizational skills; and excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse teamExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment; project management and coordination skills; ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines on concurrent projectsAbility to establish cooperative working relationships with patients, co-workers, & physicians
Preferred Qualifications Spanish language fluencyExperience working with patients or study subjectsExperience and interest in elderly populationsTraining/experience in the conduct of clinical research trials in an academic research environmentKnowledge of CHR/IRB policy and procedureProficiency in data analyses software (SPSS, Stata, MatLab)Willingness to perform administrative duties About UCSF

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF.
