Bruker Nano, one of Bruker's four operating segments, provides customers in academic and governmental institutions, life science, materials, and applied industries with the tools to determine the characteristics of matter and visualize the structure of molecules. Divisions within BNANO include Bruker AXS, Bruker Nano Analytics, Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Canopy.

The ERP Data Specialist within the MSAT team is responsible for entering, managing, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of data within Bruker's SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This role plays a critical part in supporting business operations by maintaining high data integrity across product structures and processes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of ERP product structure setup (including BOMs and routings), and knowledge of the biotech or reagent industry. Success in this role requires collaboration, attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to quality standards. Experience in data analysis, trending, and workflow optimization in a biotech environment is highly desirable



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Data Management

    Upload, maintain, and ensure accuracy of SAP master data, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), item master data, routings, etc. to support Plan to Produce side of the business
  • Ensure data reflects real-world materials, manufacturing processes, and product structures

Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with IT, Manufacturing, MSAT New Product Introduction, Supply Chain, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, and Finance teams
  • Support seamless data integration and alignment across systems and departments
  • Provided exceptional customer service by promptly resolving ERP data issues and improving user experience across cross-functional teams.

Data Cleansing & Validation

  • Review and cleanse legacy data for ERP migration and maintenance
  • Validate, reconcile, and document data to ensure integrity and compliance

User Support & Training

  • Provide ERP system support to end users
  • Generate documentation for training and departmental SOPs
  • Develop and deliver training to improve system adoption and data accuracy

Process Optimization

  • Analyze ERP workflows and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity


Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Experience with SAP (strongly preferred), or other ERP systems such as Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics for at least 3 years
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other business information systems such as Power BI
  • Strong data analysis, data trending, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • BS/BA degree in scientific field is desired

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities and timelines

Industry Knowledge (Preferred)

  • Understanding of biotech or life science reagent industry workflows

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $78,000 yr and $113,000 yr. and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
