Join Our Team as a Logistics Associate!

If you love keeping operations moving and thrive in a fastpaced environment, this role is for you. Want to have your mornings off and work 1:30pm - 9:30pm? This role is a fit for you! You'll prepare freight documentation, support drivers and carriers, manage inbound receiving, and coordinate customer returns. You'll also handle pallet purchasing and inventory while partnering with Sales to meet customer shipping needs - from dock times to expedited orders. Be the key link that keeps our finished goods flowing smoothly out the door.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare computergenerated and manual delivery dockets for outbound loads
  • Assist drivers, carriers, Sales Services, and department staff
  • Accurately receive inbound materials and complete required documentation
  • Coordinate customer returns for the division
  • Manage pallet purchasing, inventory, and pallet exchange programs
  • Support Sales with dock times, load tags, blind shipments, expedited orders, and special requests
  • Coordinate finishedgoods loads with carriers, drivers, and customers
  • Oversee 3rdparty production deliveries, stock tags, and related recordkeeping
  • Maintain office organization in alignment with 6S Lean standards
  • Follow all Product Safety and Quality Management policies and procedures


Qualifications

  • Twoyear technical college degree in logistics or related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Prior experience preparing logistics documentation in a Shipping or Transportation department preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage paperwork efficiently
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • High attention to detail and strong accuracy in all tasks
  • Comfortable working through challenging situations in a fast pace environment
  • Participate in creating a cohesive and professional office team
