Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with visitor and contractor access procedures, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to site leadership.
• Support a professional environment by documenting incidents, completing required reports, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital vaccine requirements must be met.
• Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
