The Medical College of Wisconsin is currently seeking a Student Assistant in Environmental Health and Safety. The Student Assistant will assist in implementing the chemical inventory system in close collaboration with the Director of Environmental Health & Safety and the Assistant Safety Officers. The research lab and office space is approximately 500,000 square feet over 6 building sites with about 3000 faculty and staff directly involved in research activities.

Ideal candidates will be current students working toward a B.S., M.S., or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Safety, or other science/life science concentration. The successful candidate will be well organized, familiar with chemicals, chemical safety, and computer applications.

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education an on equivalent basis.

Minimum Required Education: Enrolled in collegeworking toward a B.S., M.S., or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Safety, or other science/life science concentration

Minimum Required Experience: No experience required
