Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, roadways, restricted areas, and perimeter zones to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or vehicle authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations.
  • Support incident response by helping to de-escalate disturbances, preserving the scene for follow-up review, and preparing clear, accurate reports on daily activities and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Applicants must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
