As a Security Officer Gated Community in Mission Viejo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and conduct routine patrols to help discourage security-related incidents. In this customer-focused role, you will interact with residents and guests, support a welcoming environment, and communicate clearly with professionalism. Position Type: Full Time / Mix Shift

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with residential community guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or conditions that may require security-related attention.
• Support access control operations by communicating clearly with residents and authorized visitors, maintaining accurate logs, and reporting maintenance, policy, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contact.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
