The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. 4 Tower is a busy 30 bed cardiac unit, We see a range of telemetry and medical-surgical patient acuities, Types of patients we care for include post cardiac procedures, sepsis, dialysis, heart failure, and respiratory failure, A Day in the Life of a Clinical Care Tech -Video Link Below https://vimeo, com/882180684/661d994b22?share=copy Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Basic Life Support CPR through American Heart Association Preferred: Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred, Certified nursing assistant preferred, Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend 12 hour shifts Rotation of paired holidays Essential Functions: The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients including taking vital signs, EKGS, performing phlebotomy, assisting or providing patients with bedside care, i, e, bathing, mouth care, skin care and mobilizing patients, Providing patient care, based on physical, education, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in assigned service Providing for effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment and critical actions Ongoing communication with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient s care Participating in collaboration of our patient's plan of care from ad mission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning Other Duties: Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job, Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice, RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer | |
