As a Security Officer Patrol CPR First Aid in ARLINGTON, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.65 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post instructions and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and/or perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, document observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and/or local contacts.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directions and general questions, and completing routine reports related to patrols, incidents, and/or notable conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
