Job Description

As a result of recommendations from Visa's Finance Velocity Office (responsible for shaping our transformation strategy, business operations and enhancing the impact we make as finance), we are standing up a Planning COE to serve all FP&A teams globally.

The creation of a Planning COE will drive efficiencies and enable productivity gains across the organization. Centralization is not just a single co-located team orsystems,it is a set of common practices, end-to-end processes with clear roles & responsibilities, common systems and data sources, and a defined operating model/structure.

This personwill spearhead the development and execution of strategies to enhance workforce forecast capabilities by partnering closely with the People Team and will design and implement end-to-end connected processes across headcount, workforce planning, and related domains, driving innovation and excellence in our planning methodologies.This role will require close partnership withFP&A tolinkVisa's workforce strategy tomeasurable financial impacts across Visa-wide.

Essential Functions

  • Strategic Workforce Planning: Partner with the People Team to enhance workforce forecast capabilities and ensure the completeness of existingheadcount, including cost center mapping. Develop and manage models for scaled headcount (e.g., Customer Service, Shared Services Centers), program resource planning (e.g., Technology), and revenue-related resource planning, ensuring seamless integration with related systems and processes.
  • Headcount Data Management: Lead the strategy for headcount data cleansing and ensure accuracy within the financial system. Establish and enforce robust reporting,data governance, and quality control processes for all headcount data to support financial planning.
  • Innovation and Best Practices:Design andestablishend-to-end connected processes across headcount, workforce planning, and related functions. Implement seamless workflows that integrate various planning domains to ensure efficiency and accuracy in workforce management. Continuously evaluate and refine processes to adapt to organizational changes and emerging best practices.
  • Model Development and Data Management:Spearhead the development, management, and reporting of models for all revenue-related resourcing, including advisory services andmarketing developmentfunds. Design and implement advanced models and allocation methodologies for Shared Services Center (SSC)solutions andcollaborate with Real Estate for effective demand planning.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Serve as the Planning COE liaison, facilitating effective cross-functional collaboration.

This is a hybrid position.Expectationofdays intheoffice will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a corporate or matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data andprovideactionable insights
  • Proficiencyin financial modeling, data analysis, and financial software (e.g., Excel, SAP, Oracle)
  • Deep understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and expense management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex financial information clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrated ability to align expense planning with overall businessobjectivesand provide strategic recommendations
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience supporting multiple corporate functions such as Legal, HR, Risk, and Corporate Service in a strategic finance capacity
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA
  • Experience in the financial services industry, with knowledge of industry-specific trends and challenges
  • Proventrack recordof leading and developing high-performing teams in a global environment
  • Familiarity with advanced forecasting techniques and statistical modeling for baseline expense planning
  • Experience with implementing oroptimizingfinancial planning systems and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership across various functions and regions
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 153,600.00 to 245,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
