Technical Project Manager (SQL / GIS Focus)

Location: Woodbridge, VA

Schedule: Hybrid 3-4 days onsite

Job Overview:

We are seeking a resource who combines strong project management expertise with hands-on SQL database querying skills. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging with stakeholders, presenting insights, and managing initiatives that involve GIS or Cityworks systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage technical projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder alignment.
• Perform SQL database querying and analysis to support project requirements.
• Translate raw data into actionable insights and present findings to stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver clear, executive-level presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth adoption of tools and processes.
• Leverage GIS or Cityworks experience to support city infrastructure or utility-related projects.

Qualifications:

• Strong project management experience, including stakeholder communication and executive reporting.
• Proficiency in SQL querying and working with relational databases.
• Experience with GIS platforms or Cityworks preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Ability to balance technical detail with strategic project oversight.
