DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position serves as the Services and Support Chief and oversees the management of 2500+ workstations, peripheral devices, and 800+ printers across the PLCB enterprise including their life-cycle management and the operating systems, software, and applications that run on them. This position also provides leadership, management, and direction to the Service Desk, Desktop Support, and Computer Operations managers. Other duties include:
- Ensuring the Service Desk, Desktop Support, and Computer Operations teams are staffed and trained appropriately so that business continuity is maintained.
- Providing technical advice and making recommendations to senior IT leadership supporting the agency vision for information technology end-user equipment and technical support.
- Creating, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with Commonwealth and PLCB policies and procedures in conjunction with the CTO and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).
- Leading or participating in selection committees developing RFIs/RFPs and reviewing proposals related to information technology goods, products, and services. This position also provides technical criteria and evaluation input to guide selections.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week, with two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) in office. In office days could be at the primary location - Northwest Office Building, 910 Capital Street, Harrisburg, PA 17124, or secondary location - 6345 Flank Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17112. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Information Technology Generalist Administrator 2, Database Administrator 2, Data Administrator 2, Applications Developer Administrator, Network Administrator 2, or Information Security Specialist 3 (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of technical information technology experience including two years of administrative information technology work, and a bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training including two years of administrative information technology work.
Other Requirements:
