Service delinquent credit accounts through telephone customer contact in order to protect receivables and minimize bad debt expense.

Essential Functions

  • To service delinquent or bankrupt customer accounts through telephone and personal contact, to protect our financial exposure, increase corporate cash flow, and minimize bad debt expense.
  • Call customers with past due accounts and negotiate payment arrangement by phone.
  • Locate customers with delinquent accounts.
  • Document all conversations with customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education

Associate's Degree/equivalent in business administration.

Minimum Experience

Two (2) years commercial collections or bankruptcy operations experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to organize and prioritize large amounts of data.

Strong excel and pc related skills required.

Good human relations and communication skills.

Job Conditions

Preferred Qualifications: Working knowledge of Oracle, ability to work in a team setting, working knowledge of MS Office
