AR FOLLOWUP REPRESENTATIVE Hospital Facility \| Southside Virginia Are you someone who loves chasing down dollars, solving denials, and seeing your work directly impact revenue? A hospital facility in Southside Virginia is hiring AR FollowUp Representatives to work aged accounts and drive claims to resolution. If you're detailoriented, persistent, and comfortable living in payer portals and Epic - this is worth a conversation. What You'll Spend Your Day Doing * Working aged AR accounts from Epic work queues & ATB (Aged Trial Balance) reports * Prioritizing highdollar and oldest claims first * Investigating denials, underpayments, and unpaid claims * Calling insurance companies to resolve issues and move claims forward * Requesting medical records and uploading to payer portals * Updating coordination of benefits and working directly with patients when needed * Spotting denial trends and partnering with leadership to fix root causes Productivity goal: ~50 accounts per day (varies by dollar amount & complexity) What They're Looking For * AR followup or billing experience (hospital billing a plus) * Experience working denials, appeals, and insurance followup * Comfortable working in Epic, payer portals, and Excel * Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail * HS Diploma required This Role Is Great For Someone Who: * Likes ownership of their work and working independently * Enjoys problemsolving and followthrough * Knows how to navigate payer conversations with confidence * Wants stability in a hospital environment I'll walk through pay, structure, expectations, and growth opportunity on a quick phone call.
