Description

This position requires the electrical assembling of electrical cables and wires according to instructions and within a specific time frame, while using the appropriate work instructions, tools and/or equipment according to safety and quality standards, as well as carrying out any other duties as directed by the Lead or Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately perform the assembly wires, and cables for control boxes and/or any electrical production needs and requirements.


  • Perform all essential functions of a "Mechanical Assembler"
  • Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
  • Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
  • Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Performed adjustments needed to ensure factory settings and specifications using schematics and/or engineering documentation.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • May be required to work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
  • Supporting company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, ISO policies, and good manufacturing practices.


NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Capable of performing all essential functions of a "Mechanical Assembler".
  • Regularly lift 25 pounds
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.
  • Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring others.
  • Communicate and enforce corporate environmental, health, and safety program.
  • Fill out forms, as needed.


KNOWLEDGE



  • Knowledgeable on basic electrical tools
  • Be able to use the metric system.
  • Must be a good communicator.
  • Must be able to use Hand Tools and Power Tools.
  • Must have assembly experience.
  • Enthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior.
  • ISO experience a plus.


SKILLS



  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
  • Basic computer and tablet navigation and utilization skills
  • Must be able to use addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Must be able to work in a team and follow deadlines.
  • Must have good leadership and communication skills.


WORK SCHEDULE



  • Monday - Thursday
  • 6:00am - 5:00pm
  • Occasional Overtime


PAY RANGE



  • $24.00-$28.00

    EDUCATION and QUALIFICATION



    • High School education preferred.


    MENTAL



    • Ability to accept and follow instructions.
    • Being open to feedback from peers, Lead man and Supervisor.
    • Realize one's own limitations and seek assistance when needed.
