Partnerships with key surgeon consultants help provide advanced and proprietary patented solutions, including EMPOWR 3D Knee, the only dual-pivot knee system on the market, and AltiVate Reverse Shoulder, a market-leading system, based on the design principles of the RSP Shoulder, which has demonstrated excellent clinical outcomes at 10 years.

Enovis Surgical offers surgeons and their patients a full range of primary and revision implants for hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow reconstructive joint surgeries, in addition to the tools and digital health technology needed in today's changing healthcare environment.

Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:

Enovis is seeking a Senior Distribution Engineer - Automation to support the design, optimization, and scalability of distribution operations at the MPOC facility. This role will be responsible for improving material flow, warehouse efficiency, and order fulfillment processes through data-driven decisions. This role will also be responsible for implementation and support of automation solutions in distribution.

This individual will play a critical role in ensuring seamless integration between manufacturing and distribution, supporting both current operations and future growth.

Key Responsibilities: Process Design & Optimization:

• Design and optimize warehouse layouts, material flow, and storage strategies to improve efficiency and throughput
• Analyze distribution processes (receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping) and implement improvements
• Develop and maintain standard work and process documentation
• Identify, evaluate, and implement automation solutions (e.g., conveyors, sortation systems, AGV's, and fixed and mobile robotic systems)
• Lead automation-related projects from concept through implementation
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful deployment of automated systems
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing manual touches, cycle time, and errors
• Utilize data to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements
• Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance (throughput, accuracy, productivity)
• Support capacity planning and labor optimization efforts
• Collaborate with IT and Supply Chain teams to optimize Warehouse Management System (WMS) functionality
• Ensure alignment and integration between WMS, ERP, and automation systems
• Experience with Oracle ERP preferred.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth product flow from production to distribution
• Support new product introductions (NPI) by designing scalable distribution processes
• Provide on-the-floor support to troubleshoot operational issues and drive resolution

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in distribution, warehouse operations, or manufacturing engineering
• Experience designing or improving warehouse processes and material flow
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive decisions
