The Analytics, Performance & Management Unit (APM) is a talented team of 25 data, technical, and management professionals leading the modernization of the agency's data systems and advancing data-driven decision-making across the New York City Department of Transportation. This position will report directly to the Assistant Commissioner of APM. Minimum Qualifications 1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering or a related field and four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to datacenter engineering and operations, cloud engineering and operations, complex IT infrastructure engineering; or, Preferred Skills Candidates will ideally possess the following skills and experience: -Demonstrated experience managing or supporting enterprise applications, data systems, or operational technology platforms -Experience working across multiple divisions or business units within a large organization, with the ability to navigate complex operational environments -Proven experience with executive-level advisement and supporting senior leadership decision-making -Strong understanding of both operational workflows and technical project delivery -Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). -Experience with BI tools such as Power BI. -Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present professionally to executive-level staff. -A minimum of 7 years of experience within NYC government -A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience -A minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably managing technical or IT-related projects Public Service Loan Forgiveness As a prospective employee of the City of New York, you may be eligible for federal loan forgiveness programs and state repayment assistance programs.
