Aquent is seeking a detail-oriented Enrollment & Eligibility Specialist to support multiple health plans for our healthcare client. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate management of member data, ensuring that eligibility, demographics, and benefit information are correctly reflected in the system. You will act as a key problem-solver, researching data discrepancies and coordinating with internal and external partners to resolve complex enrollment issues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Member Data Management: Verify enrollment status and perform manual updates to member demographics, effective dates, and termination records.
  • System Maintenance (QNXT): Manually update enrollment systems to resolve "fall-out" edits from daily and monthly electronic files.
  • Eligibility Research: Investigate and resolve member-specific eligibility issues while adhering to legislative, regulatory, and technical requirements.
  • Urgent Request Fulfillment: Process expedited requests from health plans or state entities, including the manual entry of temporary newborn records.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Review and manually update reconciliation reports received from Finance to ensure billing and enrollment alignment.
  • Deliverables Coordination: Validate benefit plan information for accuracy and manage the distribution and customization of member ID cards.
  • Inquiry Resolution: Address claim inquiries and provide clear answers to enrollment questions from state partners and health plans.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Ability to analyze and research data to identify and execute necessary corrections.
  • Detail Focus: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional partnership.
  • Soft Skills: Proven problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to adapt to changing workflows.


Preferred Skills

  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience with Healthcare, Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), or Medicare/Medicaid.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Familiarity with healthcare enrollment processes and regulatory policies.
  • Software Proficiency: Comfort learning new proprietary systems and navigating Microsoft Excel.


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $18 to $20.60 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
