Job Title: Associate Scientist Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of Extension) Location: Thousand Oaks, CA Associate Scientist within the Attribute Sciences Process Development Group performs analytical testing of attributes of biotherapeutic drug products. Our team supports drug product advancement by developing analytical methods that assess biochemical and biophysical characteristics of the candidate drug product. This information is shared with the product team and used to make critical decisions to further the drug. Basic Qualifications M.S. or B.S. with 2 years of work/industry experience in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field. Experience with analytical assays required. Basic Qualifications Masters degree OR Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate's degree and 4 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets: Experimental lab skills Critically thinking about data Works well in a team Nice to Have: Mass spectrometry Day to Day Responsibilities: The scientist will perform experiments in a laboratory setting and process data. They will perform analytical testing of attributes of drug products. They will share their data with team members and discuss.
