Description
The Receptionist is responsible for answering all incoming calls and forwarding them in a professional, friendly, and prompt manner. This position is also responsible for supplying accurate information to callers, greeting and announcing visitors in a professional manner.
Answer and forward all incoming telephone calls in an accurate, friendly, professional and prompt manner,
- Supply accurate information to callers and relays telephone messages when necessary,
- Greet and announce visitors,
- Ensure messages left in the general mailbox are handled appropriately and updates the main office voice mail greeting for after hours and non-workday calls,
- Process and distribute incoming and outgoing office mail and packages, distributes incoming faxes, and handle requests for supplies and other tasks in a timely manner,
- File and verify overnight air-bills and invoices for all packages,
- Maintain the office calendar for conference room reservations,
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education, Training and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required,
One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience,
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs.
