Rutgers University-Camden is seeking a Program Coordinator II for The Institute for Empowering Equitable Education in
STEM (E3-
STEM). Reporting to the Assistant Director and working closely with the Director, this position supports the day-to-day logistics and administrative operations of E3-STEM's grant-funded programs. The Program Coordinator II plays a key role in ensuring the effective implementation and smooth operation of program initiatives.
Providing support to the Center through close collaboration with the Director and Assistant Director, this position will be responsible for managing existing grants and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful grant coordination and Institute initiatives. Monitors project progress, ensures all activities align with grant requirements, and maintains compliance with funder guidelines and deadlines. Tracks project milestones, manages documentation, and ensures proper, approved use of funds. Prepares and submits detailed financial and programmatic reports to grantors and collects data for evaluation.
This is a grant funded position contingent upon the availability of funds to support it. |

Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. - A bachelor's degree in education, STEM, or a related field preferred. Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of STEM and mentoring.
- Minimum of one-year relevant experience in program coordination or administrative function, good communication skills, and computer literacy.
- Familiarity with mentoring programs and STEM education is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
