The Quality Assurance (QA) Technologist coordinates the design, planning, evaluation and integration of quality assurance for the clinical practice of Imaging.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography. WV: Radiography License through the West Virginia Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners 3. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE: 1. Five (5) years of Radiology experience. Creates and maintains department-wide quality indicators in support of the Radiology Quality Dashboard. Differentiate various shades of gray as depicted on a black and white television monitor or photograph 2. Stand and walk for 8 hours a day 3. Wear a lead apron weighing approximately 8 to 15 pounds for extend periods of time. 4. Lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds of weight. 5. Carry items of up to 20 pounds.
