Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Fully Remote (must work PST hours)

Duration: 6 months Assignment

Shift/Hours: 40hr/week in the beginning, but may move to part time as projects progress

Summary:

  • Leads project teams and sub teams to develop and implement new programs and process improvements.
  • Manages projects in accordance with established program management methodologies.
  • Ensure that multiple projects meet specified timelines and deliver expected results.
  • Manages and monitors project or program schedules, progress and costs to ensure that expected results are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Maintains, adjusts and updates project plans as needed.
  • Looking specifically for a project manager to help facilitate the team.


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate as needed.
  • Gathering requirements from stakeholders.
  • Establish timelines.
  • True PM work.
  • Help team remain on track for deadlines and goals.
  • Remaining organized.
  • Follow up as needed.
  • Partner with cross functional teams as needed.


Key projects:

  • Will help facilitate customs projects (implementation and standards) and (implementation of a customs presence in client areas).


Technology requirements:

  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Smartsheet's (main one).
  • Project Management tooling.


Degree or certifications required:

  • No degree required.
  • PMP highly preferred.


Years of experience:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience.


Required background & Skills:

  • Knowledge of project management.
  • Has seen projects from start to end successfully.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience with large cross function projects (international projects are a plus).
  • Ability to pivot as needed.
  • Supply chain background.
  • Basic supply chain knowledge.


Nice-to-Haves:

  • Knowledge of customs and trade would be a plus.
