Warehouse Supervisor

STS Technical Services is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor in Roanoke, Texas.

STS Technical Services is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations in Roanoke, Texas. This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse employees and ensuring business objectives are met across safety, quality, productivity, and responsiveness.

You will be expected to lead from the floor, manage performance, and keep operations moving without friction. This is not a sit-back role. It requires awareness, accountability, and the ability to get people aligned quickly.

• Counsel and support hourly employees with needs and concerns as required
  
• Address performance behaviors by reinforcing positive actions and correcting negative ones
  
• Use Quality Network problem-solving processes to identify issues and drive improvements
  
• Apply Workplace Organization processes to improve layout, efficiency, and workflow
  
• Perform daily Timekeeping System updates to ensure accurate payroll processing
  
• Use A-3 reporting to document problem-solving activities and follow established guidelines
  
• Conduct daily team meetings to communicate performance and drive two-way discussion
  
• Perform and document weekly safety observation tours
  
• Plan daily workloads in advance to ensure smooth operations
  
• Support colleagues and leadership to optimize shift performance
  
• Observe contractual requirements at both national and local levels
  
• Enforce shop rules and company policies consistently
  
• Perform daily SOP audit checks to maintain standards
  
• Advance personal and team development through the Individual Development Plan process
  
• Keep leadership informed of departmental activities and pending issues
  

• High school diploma required with 1 to 2 years of technical or business school training
  
• Training in a skilled trades area or equivalent technical experience preferred
  
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and warehouse procedures
  
• Basic math skills and general technical understanding of assigned work areas
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Familiarity with scheduling and workforce management systems
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability in complex environments
  
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive performance
  
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and operational standards
