IT Business Analyst Birmingham, AL Pay from: $48 Per Hour MUST: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Information Technology field Technical Analyst experience Strong core business analyst experience User Acceptance Testing experience Experience building business requirements, test scripts and test plans Ability to apply business requirements to testing methodologies Performing hands on testing of applications Strong understanding of application programming, database and system design Thorough understanding of information technology capabilities Proficient with Visio, Outlook and Word Experienced managing stakeholders and project management experience in the IT arena Strong leadership and conflict resolution experience Experience working on HR or Revenue Cycle projects a plus Bachelor's degree or significant business requirements experience required DUTIES: The duties of the IT Business Analyst include but are not limited to the following: Oversee requirements discussions, capture information, document the requirements and obtain approvals from stakeholders Create test plans and perform hands-on testing of the applications Apply business requirements to testing methodologies and create test scripts Manage and oversee the application of test scripts Lead projects through the testing phase Ensure that test cases are built which exercise the application against the requirements Confirm that business requirements are complete, thorough and tested Apply requirements against application testing methodology and ensure that the end product is consistent with the original intent. Capture business needs and build business requirements and create detailed requirement documents Ensure that requirements match the scope of a project Communicate project information to leadership Complete status reports Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
