Software Engineer

Peraton is looking for a talented Software Engineer to design, develop, and optimize software to support mission-critical systems while working in dynamic and collaborative environments. The candidate will be responsible for creating tools, frameworks, and visualizations to meet demanding program deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of secure application architectures aligned with mission goals.
• Develop software using programming languages such as Python, R, C++, and SQL.
• Support advanced data analytics with tools like Apache, Hadoop, SAS, Tableau, and PowerBI.
• Partner with program managers and operational teams to automate workflows and improve software quality.
• Create APIs to enable seamless integration of mission-critical algorithms and enterprise systems.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in an area relevant to the position with 8+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in an area relevant to the position with 6+ years of relevant experience. AN Additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI or SCI eligibility and active polygraph or ability to obtain a polygraph
• Advanced understanding of software design frameworks, Agile development, and automation tools (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins).
• Proficiency in software development for intelligence systems or similar domains.
