Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Sales
- Deliver personalized financial advice and recommend products that meet client goals.
- Deepen relationships by cross-selling checking/savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, and lending or trust services.
- Support business clients with Treasury Services, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), courier, and armored transport solutions.
- Represent the branch at community events to build visibility and attract new clients.
Operations & Compliance
- Open, manage, and service consumer and business accounts while maintaining full compliance with all regulations.
- Enforce standards for BSA, AML, and Information Security to protect clients and the institution.
- Oversee large transactions, monitor daily reports, and maintain fraud prevention controls.
- Ensure branch security procedures and audit readiness are consistently upheld.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor and support junior staff to foster growth, teamwork, and service excellence.
- Collaborate with the Branch Manager on performance goals, sales initiatives, and community outreach.
- Lead by example in managing complex transactions and resolving escalated client issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of retail banking experience, including teller and new account responsibilities.
- Proven ability to manage personal and business banking relationships.
- Strong working knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and security procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and core banking systems.
- Notary Public certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
