Responsibilities
The (Regional) Sourcing Manager position is responsible for sourcing vendors for the region and managing the vendor relationships. **MUST have experience sourcing for general contractors in the telecom construction industry.** In addition, you will:

Source vendors for the region; understand demand-supply crew gaps and develop action plans to close those gaps Be the central point of contact for project and market staff, and liaison between Corporate VMO, business partners, vendors, suppliers, project teams, and corporate support teams Advocate for partners and vendors Actively engage partners and promote mutually beneficial initiatives Recruit and vet general contractors for both wireless and fiber infrastructure builds Provide leadership and total lifecycle supplier relationship management Provide daily, weekly, and monthly accountability in support of the market vendor base Schedule and coordinate the mobilization of contractor resources Monitor purchase orders Collaborate with the markets to reconcile vendor accounts Analyze, organize, and report on large data sets Assist with unique projects and help drive new initiatives in the market Provide training, ad-hoc financial analyses, and reporting Help conduct vendor meetings and lead ongoing communications Support management, field teams, and other cross-functional departments Support the development, enhancement, and management of the VMO Vendor Compliance program Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports Support customer program goals and objectives: promote supplier diversity, vendor incentive programs, etc. Aid Corporate VMO (Vendor Management Organization) in the proper vetting of prospective vendors and facilitate due diligence reviews Conduct market research and help maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates to meet market needs Work with market leaders to understand/interpret the needs of your region Maintain integrity, impeccable action within markets, and lead ethically and by example Attend industry-related trade shows and conventions Promote collaboration between market leaders and within the Sourcing organization Collaborate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on pricing, terms, conditions, and processes Introduce new incentive programs to vendors to make MasTec the partner of choice Manage the vendor onboarding process with MasTec Manage vendor issue escalations and follow-through to ensure resolution Maintain vendor scorecard with metrics, performance goals, and improvement initiatives Provide vendors with a forecast of jobs Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
About You:
A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field 5 years' experience in procurement/strategic sourcing 3 years' experience in the Telecom supply industry preferred Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement Must possess high ethical standards and possess an expert ability to handle confidential, sensitive, and critical issues Must have proficient computer software skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Must have excellent presentation and communication skills Expert organizational and planning skills; attention to detail; productive without compromising quality Effective project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously Must have a proven track record in negotiating pricing and reducing costs Working knowledge of Oracle, QuickBase, Avetta, and other similar online industry/SaaS database supplier relationship management applications Knowledgeable of state and local laws for General Contractor licensing requirements Familiarity with vendors (Telecom construction) in a specific market Ability to travel up to 50% travel is required
