Job Summary: The Management Consulting (MC) Intern utilizes their educational background and organizational skills to assist the MC practice in one of its segments - Healthcare Consulting, Operational Excellence, Transformation & Technology, Strategy & Innovation, People Strategy & Solutions, Turnaround & Restructuring, or Human Capital Management. It is anticipated that the Intern will be primarily focused on one segment of the practice. (Please click on the hyperlinks below to learn more about each MC Practice.)

The MC intern will be part of a team focused on serving the firm's client base with experienced colleagues who will provide direction, coaching and learning opportunities. Job Duties:
- Assists with informational interviews and facilitation of meetings with clients during engagement process
- Assists in documentation of project requirements and business processes
- Assists in development of initial deliverables and/or solutions to client issues
- Takes minutes during meetings, and produces a meeting summary to present to clients
- Leverages templates to prepare drafts of various reports, presentations and documentation
- Utilizes research tools, databases and trade publications to develop an understanding of a client's industry
- Assists with research for and drafting of proposals
- Assists with documentation and work papers associated with client engagements
- Other duties, as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Education:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, required; with a focus in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Communications, Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Health Sciences, or other relevant field of study, preferred
Experience:
- Project delivery experience, preferred
- Leadership experience, preferred
License/Certifications:
Software:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, required
Language:
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, specifically business / report writing
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting
- Strong analytical and basic research skills
- Solid organizational skills, and ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
- Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
- Able to work in a deadline-driven environment, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel based on client and practice needs
Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
