Maintenance Worker II

Location: Lowell, MA - new treatment location

Schedule: Full-time

The Maintenance Worker:

• Assists the Building Maintenance Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor in the maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant and grounds as well as all machinery and equipment at the Lowell site.
• May need travel to other Spectrum facilities to perform similar duties.
• Will work with the Assistant Director of Environment of Care, the Building Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance supervisor, the Director of Inpatient Services as well as Program Managers to ensure that the facilities are well maintained.
• May direct or oversee subcontracted labor.
• May need to be available early morning, late nights or weekends as emergencies, or other urgent needs arise.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• At least one year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience in building maintenance and/or custodial services preferred
• General construction knowledge and ability preferred
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must have ability to use and operate basic hand and power tools
• Must display the ability to interact with clients on an appropriate, professional level
