Job DescriptionReporting to the Head of Global Card Products, the role-holder will be responsible for initiatives across three broad areas of responsibility: Credit Expansion: working closely with Corporate Strategy, Regional Product partners and other key stakeholders across the business to build out Visa's 'Credit Expansion' strategic imperative designed to expand Visa's share of carded credit volumes globally and to build new solutions that address non-carded credit opportunities, to meet our targeted credit volumes per annum by 2030. Strengthen Debit: again, partnering with Corporate Strategy and key Regional Product and functional stakeholders, develop and finalize Visa's approach to protecting and expanding our debit & prepaid business within mature markets, and growing in other parts of the world, managing for competitive and regulatory threats to deliver net revenue targets by FY30 New Solution development & deployment: in line with these strategic initiatives and working closely with regional SMEs, technology teams and other key stakeholders, deliver new solutions and features to enhance Visa's market competitiveness and overall core product utility. The role-holder will lead a small global team of SMEs and will work closely with colleagues from across Visa's global regions as well as with Global stakeholders to develop end-to-end consumer experiences that drive client preference for Visa as a strategic partner and make us an enabler of superior value propositions for digitally-enabled consumers. The role-holder will be responsible for the identification, development, commercialization and launch of new ways to grow the consumer credit business as well as strengthening our debit franchise globally, as part of Visa's 2030 corporate strategy. You will need to be driven, highly collaborative and will be the key interface between the regional/in-market teams and Visa's global teams to ensure our platforms drive product differentiation, consumer activation and engagement to expand issuance and drive usage. As well as working with regional, client-facing teams, you will work closely with colleagues from different Product groups, along with Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Client Services, Finance, Pricing, Risk Legal and Compliance. This is a hybrid position.Expectationofdays intheoffice will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager. QualificationsBasic Qualifications: 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications: 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience 13 - 15+ years of experience and at least 8 - 10 years of experience in the payments industry, preferably in product development, product management & strategy Experience in financial services, fintechs, retail and ecommerce will be an advantage Proven experience in P&L ownership & sharp understanding of macroeconomics, consumer behavior, product operations, business processes Established credentials in delivering product & business solutions and keen interest in payment technology & innovation Understanding of network product, rules, technology & financial business models will be advantageous Strategic thought leadership coupled with execution bias to drive initiatives and meet key result areas Sound business acumen, analytical skills and keen understanding of new technology payments' business models & profitability drivers Understanding of Visa business and organization strongly preferred Excellent direct & indirect team building & leadership skills; managing local & remote team members as well as "dotted line" / extended team members in global regions Master's degree in business, engineering or a related field Additional InformationWork Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
